Information about how and when the our business and commercial waste service processes personal information about you.

What we do

We provide chargeable business waste, recycling collections and disposal services. These are available to all businesses in the London Borough of Lewisham.

Businesses have a legal duty under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to ensure that their rubbish is disposed of properly. This must be carried out by a licensed waste carrier, even if it’s only a small amount.

Information collected from other sources

any information found as evidence in fly tipped material by Lewisham Council Environmental Crime (Enforcement) or Waste Operations Teams

All personal data held, is processed in accordance with data protection law. The Data Controller for the information outlined in this privacy notice is Lewisham Council.
