How to join

• Join at any of our libraries with proof of your name and address.
• Alternatively you can sign up on our website.
• If you'd like to borrow physical books you will then need to visit Catford, Deptford or Downham Libraries with proof of your name and address.
• Proof can be paper or electronic and should show your full name and current address. Acceptable documents include a driving licence, council tax bill or household bill dated within the last 3 months.

You will then be given a library card, and will be able to borrow items straight away.

If you are 13 or under 

• You need a parent, legal guardian or teacher to act as your guarantor.

• You need to give us your date of birth. This is because some of our books have age restrictions, and because some of our fees vary according to your age.
