Discover Lewisham this summer

The Council is resetting regeneration plans, by proposing a new Catford Town Centre Business Plan 2026-2030, that focuses on practical and realistic improvements that residents and businesses can see and benefit from in their everyday lives.

We know many people are keen to see the bridge reopen, and we are sorry for the continued delay.

Lewisham Council’s Mayor and Cabinet will consider the recommendations in the next phase of the Healthy Neighbourhoods programme on 9 September, paving the way for a borough-wide conversation with residents about how local streets can be made safer, healthier and greener.
