How to pay sundry debts

​Find out about how to pay a sundry debt.

Debit card or credit card

Enter your invoice number when prompted for the reference number. When paying for more than one invoice you will need to pay for each invoice separately. Debit card payments are free.

Pay by Direct Debit (recommended)

Direct debit is the safest and easiest way to pay. It ensures your payment is automatically collected from your bank account on a specified date each month.

How to set up a Direct Debit

  • print and complete the Direct Debit form and use your customer account number or invoice number as the reference
  • post a signed copy of the mandate to: Director of Resources, Core Accounting Team, London Borough of Lewisham, 4th floor, Laurence House, Catford, London SE6 4RU
  • if you would prefer to send the form electronically instead of via post, you can send a signed copy of the mandate saved as a PDF file to CoreAccountingTeam@lewisham.gov.uk

Post Office

You can pay your sundry debts at the Post Office by debit card, cheque or in cash. You will need your invoice with the barcode on it. Cheques should be made payable to the Post Office Ltd.

Pay in shops or garages where you see the PayPoint sign. You will need your invoice with a barcode on it.
