Community premises

We manage and support many community premises throughout the borough. These are used by voluntary organisations, charities and residents.

The community premises we manage or support are listed below. We rely on comments and feedback to continually improve the services we provide.

Not all of the premises listed below are available for hire. If you are searching for a venue go to the directory of venues in the borough, which also includes many other sites not managed or supported directly by us.

Consultation on community premises

We recently consulted on the future support of the our community assets to the voluntary and community sector (pdf). The consultation asked for views on the way in which our assets, such as community centres, sports grounds and other buildings, will provide support to the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in the future. Mayor and Cabinet agreed an approach on 15 July 2015 and following further consultation agreed an implementation plan for community centres on 11 November 2015.
