Changes to applying for a Blue Badge LTN Exemption Permit
On 31 December 2023, we moved all permits to a central online system to ease customer experience and to help customers manage exemptions and permits.
To ensure all records are up to date and to protect people’s data, anyone who was on our exemption list needs to reapply for a free Blue Badge LTN exemption via our online permit system. New applications also need to be processed via the online permit system.
Lewisham Permits System Login Page
If you were previously registered with a Blue Badge LTN exemption permit and you have not applied on our central online system, please be advised that you will not be automatically registered for a Blue Badge LTN exemption and your vehicle may be liable for a Penalty Notice Charge if you travel through the restriction zones.
If you are a Blue Badge holder with a Blue Badge LTN exemption and believe you have been issued a PCN incorrectly, please follow the statutory process.
To apply for a Blue Badge holder vehicle exemption, you must:
- be a Lewisham resident with a Blue Badge
- have a Blue Badge issued by Lewisham Council
Only one vehicle can be registered per Blue Badge for this scheme.
Do not drive through the road closures unless you receive an email confirming that you have been approved for an exemption permit. If you do, you may get a parking ticket.
The Blue Badge LTN exemption permit only allows you to drive through the Low Traffic Neighbourhood and does not exempt you from other schemes, including the School Street Scheme.
This permit only permits you to drive through a Low Traffic Neighbourhood, you cannot park your vehicle.
