Some planning documents unavailable

We're currently experiencing an issue with our website where some of our planning documents are unavailable.

If you need a planning document that's currently not available from our website, please email planning@lewisham.gov.uk for a copy.

When to submit a notice

You need to submit a building notice for works including:

  • loft conversion

  • new roof

  • replacement windows garage/carport

  • drainage

  • electrical works

This list is not exhaustive. Contact us if you're not sure if you should submit a notice.

Cost

You need to pay a fee to us when you submit your building notice application. View our building control fees.

  • we will send you an email confirmation with your reference number, after we receive your application
  • you’ll be given the name and contact details of your site inspector while we process your application
