PCN text message scam
There have been reports of text message scams relating to payment of a PCN (Penalty charge notice).
The Council will never contact motorists for payment of a PCN via text. If you receive one of these text messages, please ignore it and do not click on any links.
Residents with more than one vehicle
You can put up to two vehicles on your permit, at no extra charge.
Only one vehicle will be covered by the parking permit at any one time and this must be activated via your online permit account. Failure to do so may result in your vehicle receiving a penalty charge notice (PCN).
How to change your protected vehicle
- Sign into the permit system
- Click manage Permits
- Click change Vehicle, the permits that have available changes on them will have the Change Vehicle box next to them
- Select the vehicle you would like to change to and choose the vehicle from the list, if it is not there you will need to go back and add it as a new vehicle
- Click ok
- Click submit
