Home library service

We offer a home library delivery service to residents who are disabled, ill, older or a carer.
Libraries services

Limited services are available at Hub and Community Libraries due to COVID-19 restrictions. Find out more about changes to our library service.

We are keeping COVID-secure measures in place across our buildings to protect our staff, residents and visitors

Please continue to wear a face covering if you can and maintain social distance in our buildings. This includes our libraries, leisure centres and learning centres.

You can read the Government's current COVID-19 guidlines on its website.

There is no age limit on this service and it is completely free. Those who use the home library service include children who are temporarily out of school, adults recovering from illness, older housebound people and registered members of the RNIB.

We offer a free monthly service delivering books in normal or large print, talking books, music CDs, free newspapers and some films on DVD.

We offer this service to Lewisham residents and their carers who through age, disability, or illness are not able to visit a library.
