PCN text message scam

There have been reports of text message scams relating to payment of a PCN (Penalty charge notice).

The Council will never contact motorists for payment of a PCN via text. If you receive one of these text messages, please ignore it and do not click on any links.

We publish parking report/policies and breakdown of parking accounts:

a breakdown of income and expenditure on the authority’s parking account. The breakdown of income must include details of revenue collected from on-street parking, off-street parking and Penalty Charge Notices
a breakdown of how the authority has spent a surplus on its parking account
