Funding for hospitality businesses announced

On 21 December 2021 the Chancellor announced a £1billion fund to support businesses in the hospitality sector as the UK tackles rising cases of the Omicron variant. We are currently waiting for details on funding allocations and will update you as soon as we have more information.

Scammers are targeting businesses regarding their grant funding

If you have received an email asking you to pay back the funding do not respond and report it to reportfraud@lewisham.gov.uk. If you have received an email about getting grant funding make sure it is from a Lewisham Council email address. Read more about business scams.

Delay to 10-day response time

The business rates team are currently working hard to clear an increased backlog of correspondence.

This means we are currently working outside of the team's usual 10-day response time.

Please do not complete additional forms, unless providing new information, as this will cause further delays. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
