Community support

In September 2023, we published our first Lewisham All-Age Autism Strategy. The strategy represents the first step of many in Lewisham’s journey to becoming an autism-inclusive borough.

The Lewisham Strategic Partnership was launched in 2022 and superseded what was previously the Lewisham Deal.

Alongside the borough's major regeneration schemes, many community groups are devising and leading their own projects to improve the areas in which they live, with input from us and other organisations as required.

Our borough has a proud history of supporting refugees and migrants. We are strengthened by our diversity and the values we hold which enable and empower it.

What we can offer employees and job applicants in the reserve forces.

An eligible local voluntary or community group can ask us to list certain assets as being of value to the community.

We manage and support many community premises throughout the borough. These are used by voluntary organisations, charities and residents.
