Engagement framework

This page contains detailed information about the elements of our community engagement framework.

We are currently consulting on the new framework and strategy for resident engagement.

Your views and experience are essential in helping to improve and shape the services we offer residents. There are many ways you can get involved in making a difference in how we work.

Resident Panels

Resident Panels focus on a particular service area and provide a resident's perspective on these services. There are currently three resident panels for repairs, procurement, and community investment. All residents can apply to be on a panel, and training may be available if required.

Partnerships

Partners include the Albany, contractors, suppliers, community groups and many more. We work with partners to fundraise and deliver projects for residents. This includes delivering on social value contributions and ensuring the fulfilment of contract requirements.

Building safety

Residents will work with our Health and Safety, Fire Safety, and Building Safety teams to ensure residents are engaged with building safety management.

Tenants and Residents Associations (TRAs)

Tenants and Residents' Associations are groups established by residents. You can join your TRA to meet other residents and discuss issues related to your estate. TRAs liaise with Housing Officers to find solutions and promote engagement opportunities.

Workshops

We'll hold one-off sessions, online and in person, for all residents and stakeholders to come together, discuss and develop an action plan on how to approach important issues and services. Residents and stakeholders can suggest workshop topics.

Online sounding board

An online sounding board includes surveys and forums where we seek feedback on specific areas of housing or approaches to engagement. Feedback from the online sounding board helps us shape services.
