Apply for funding to make your organisation more accessible to children with SEND
You can apply for up to £3,000 of short breaks funding to make your organisation more accessible for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Who can apply
You can apply for the short breaks grant funding if you:
- are a voluntary or community organisation providing services to children and young people
- want to make your service more inclusive and increase participation from children and young people with SEND.
How much funding is available
You can apply for up to £3,000.
What the funding can be used for
You should use the short breaks grant to improve your capacity to meet the needs of children with SEND. This could include:
- staff training
- specialist resources
- adapted equipment
- any other plans to support children with disabilities engaging in activities.
The closing date is 18 July 2022.

A panel from the Children with Complex Needs Service will shortlist business plans. If your business plan is shortlisted, you will be asked to present it at a presentation event.
