International Women's Day
International Women's Day is on Wednesday 8 March. It’s a global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and also a call to action for accelerating gender parity. This year’s theme is #EmbraceEquity which recognises that different women have different barriers to overcome as we work towards equality. See how we're marking the occasion in Lewisham.
