Brasted Close will provide 11 permanently affordable homes. The properties will be for discounted market sale with the price of the property linked to the average local wage. This means that the homes will be sold for approximately 50 per cent of the market value.

When the properties are sold on, the price must remain proportionate to local wages, making these homes forever affordable. The homes will be built for Lewisham residents in need of affordable housing. Residents on the housing waiting register will receive additional priority.

Located in Sydenham, the development will replace a small garage site within the Brasted Close Estate.
