If you are thinking about taking a course and need some inspiration, we have over 900 part-time courses to choose from.
See our great facilities, talk to subject specialists, find out about our adult careers, information, and advice service, and take part in drop-in activities.
You will be able to enrol on the day on your preferred course and book pre-course assessments for English, maths and ESOL courses.

Programme of events
Drop-in workshops
1-7pm Cyanotypes
Make photographic prints using the power of science. Cyanotype photography is a camera-less technique and all materials will be provided.
1-3pm Drawing and painting with inks
Explore a variety of techniques to draw and paint with inks with art tutor, Martha Lamont, looking at artists for inspiration. Suitable for beginners and those with experience.
1-3pm Gelli plate printing
Make a gelli plate print using natural materials.
1:30-3pm Crochet workshop
Take part in a drop-in workshop and learn some basic crochet stiches. Complete beginners are welcome, as well as those who want to brush up rusty skills and meet other yarn enthusiasts.
1-4pm Health and wellbeing workshop
Enjoy an Indian head massage, hand or reflexology massage and find out about our wellbeing courses.
2-3pm Sewing machine skills
If you’d love to learn to sew, but have never used a machine, or can’t remember how to, join Clothesmaking tutor Anastasia Trotman on this short workshop to get started.

Taste the difference between home-made and mass produced with chef and tutor Terrie McBride.

5-6:30pm Make a mini tote bag
If you have basic machine skills, then have a go at making a mini tote bag with our expert Clothesmaking tutor Marlene Quest, or just watch and see how it’s done.
5:30-7pm Floristry workshop
Make a natural style table design to take home and enjoy with floristry tutor Lynne Robinson.
6:45-8pm Guitar workshop
Bring your guitar along, meet the tutor and play together.
