Jumpstart to success programme
The jumpstart to success is a free programme for young people aged 16-24 who are currently not in education, employment, or training. Through one-to-one mentoring we aim to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to take your next steps towards achieving your future career goals.
Programme outline
Jumpstart to success is a three-month programme that provides:-
- weekly mentoring and 1:1 coaching sessions
- confidence building and life skills workshops
- help with developing a work plan
- access to live vacancies, work placements and apprenticeship opportunities
- information about careers in rapidly growing sectors such as creative, green, and digital skills
- opportunities to meet employers from the creative, sports, dance, construction, gaming, music and hospitality industries and more!
How to register
The programme is currently full, however if you would like to express your interest for future dates you can submit your details by:
- emailing your contact details to adultlearningiag@lewisham.gov.uk and someone will contact you.
- calling: 0208 314 9196, Monday - Friday 9am-4:30pm
- complete the expression of interest form.
The project is being delivered in partnership with Adult Learning Lewisham, Youth First and Lewisham Works.
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
