Jumpstart to success programme

The jumpstart to success is a free programme for young people aged 16-24 who are currently not in education, employment, or training. Through one-to-one mentoring we aim to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to take your next steps towards achieving your future career goals.

Programme outline

Jumpstart to success is a three-month programme that provides:-

  • Weekly mentoring and 1:1 coaching sessions
  • Confidence building and life skills workshops
  • Help with developing a work plan
  • Access to live vacancies, work placements and apprenticeship opportunities
  • Information about careers in rapidly growing sectors such as creative, green, and digital skills
  • Opportunities to meet employers from the creative, sports, dance, construction, gaming, music and hospitality industries and more!

You can register now for the programme to guarantee your place on the course by:

Drop-in to one of our open days

Come along to one of the open days to find out more about the programme. No need to book just drop-in to:

  • Bellingham Gateway Youth Centre, on Thursday 10 October 2024 between 12-4pm
  • Woodpecker Youth Club on Thursday 17 October 2024 between 12-4pm

Hot food will be available.

You will have the opportunity to talk to representatives from Millwall FC, Midi Music, Irie Dance, Into Games, Lewisham Works, Lewisham Council Apprenticeships Team and more!

The project is being delivered in partnership with Adult Learning Lewisham, Youth First and Lewisham Works.

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
