How to run for young mayor

Would you like to be the next young mayor and make your mark on the borough?

If so, download a candidate pack now, which explains what you need to do to register your interest with us by 5pm on Friday 13 September 2019.

After you register your interest, you'll need to come to candidate training on Saturday 14 September 2019 from 10am–4pm at the Civic Suite in Catford SE6 4RU.

Eligibility criteria

To run for young mayor you must:

Be aged between 13–17 years old on Wednesday 16 October 2019 and either:

• Live in the borough of Lewisham
• Go to school or college in the borough of Lewisham.

When is the election?

The election takes place on Wednesday 16 October 2019.
