Our apprenticeship target
The government sets a target for public sector bodies with 250 or more staff. They are required to have regard to the target of 2.3% of employees being new apprentices. This could be new recruits or existing council staff starting an apprenticeship.
We must provide an annual return to the Department for Education showing our progress towards meeting the public sector apprenticeship target. See our annual figures below.
