Downham Woodland Walk

The Downham Woodland Walk is part of the Green Chain Walk, which connects Beckenham Place Park with the Hither Green Nature Reserve.

The area is a narrow strip of ancient woodland and is one of Lewisham's nature conservation sites.

How to get into Downham Woodland Walk

A tarmac path runs the whole length of the Woodland Walk from Bromley Road to Moorside Road, making the site accessible to everyone.

There are plenty of benches for those who wish to stop for a rest, or to contemplate the sights and sounds of the woods.
