The Big Catford Weekender
The Big Catford Weekender will be taking place in a few areas of Catford’s town centre including the Broadway, Jubilee Ground and Catford Bridge Station. This vibrant festival will help celebrate the local community with a variety of events and activities.
Whether you're exploring crafty stalls, having fun with the family-friendly activities or enjoying delicious street food - there's something for everyone. Bring your friends, your family, and your love for good times — and be part of a weekend to remember.
Over the course of three days, Catford will come alive with performances, live music, family fun, food, workshops, crafts, local business showcases, and community events. Best of all, entry is free to all areas of the weekender.

Does the festival cost anything to enter?
No, the festival is free to enter.
However there are some evening ticketed events on the Jubilee Ground on Saturday 28 June and Sunday 29 June:
Is this run by the Council or someone else?
The town centre areas of the festival are organised and run by Lewisham Council in partnership with the local community, businesses and partners. The Catford Weekender on the Jubilee Ground is a community Festival sponsored by St Dunstan's College and local businesses.
Is this suitable for children?
Absolutely. All ages are welcome and there will be a play area supported by London Play, along with craft activities suitable for the whole family.
Where can I park? What's the best way to get to the festival?
We encourage you to walk, cycle, wheel or take public transport to the festival, where possible. There's also paid and Blue Badge parking nearby at Holbeach car park, Thomas Lane car park or Laurence House car park (Saturday only).

Is this festival accessible?
Most areas of the festival are wheelchair accessible, however, some activity on the Jubilee ground is taking place on grass, which may not be accessible to all.
Is the event dog friendly?
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in all of the town centre areas of the festival.
Will there be security?
Yes, the event will be supported by the Council's security provider.
Where are the public toilets located?
Portable toilets will be available in the Jubilee Ground area.
Will Catford Mews be open?
We're close to announcing the new operator but unfortunately Catford Mews will not be open for this event. Watch out for more announcements about who you will be able to meet at the event.
I am a resident / business in the area where the festival is taking place. How will my access be impacted?
The events on the Jubilee Ground are taking place on private land therefore public access to surrounding roads will remain unaffected.
The events in the town centre will take place on Saturday 28 June, meaning that the Broadway will be closed to all vehicles other than event vehicles between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
No other access routes should be affected.
Will there be alcohol at this festival?
Alcohol is only available at the events in Jubilee Ground. There will be no alcohol served at the events in the town centre.
