If you live in a flat above a shop, we will give you official Lewisham Council orange plastic sacks.
- Only use your rubbish bin for waste that can’t go in your recycling or food waste bins.
Recycling
-
If you live in a house, or a flat in a converted house, we will give you one 240-litre green recycling bin.
-
If you live in a flat above a shop, we will give you official Lewisham Council clear plastic sacks.
Food waste
-
If you live in a house, or a flat in a converted house, we will give you one 23-litre silver food waste bin and one five-litre kitchen caddy.
Flats in estates, small blocks and new developments
-
We provide estates with communal bins.
-
If you live in privately-managed flats, your managing agent must request communal bins from us.
If we have removed your bins
We will not give you a new recycling bin or food waste bin if we had to remove your old one because you used it incorrectly. To make sure you use your bins correctly, find out what items can go in your recycling and food waste bins.
