Charities based within one of the borough's controlled parking zones can apply for a charity business permit. These are for a 12 month duration only and cost £129.24 for petrol and diesel vehicles. There is a £75 surcharge for non-Euro-6 compliant diesel vehicles.
Charity business permits are available to nationally registered charities, whose head office are located within the borough’s controlled parking zones (CPZ), and are in receipt of a Council grant. Vehicles must be registered to the Charity.
You will be required to provide the following evidence documents:
Charity evidence x 2
- Proof of Nationally registered charity
- Proof of receipt of Council grant
Proof of vehicle ownership x 1
- Vehicle registration (V5)
- Company letterhead (if it is a company vehicle)
- Vehicle hire agreement minimum valid for 3 months
- Mobility hire agreement
Where can I park with my Charity Business Permit?
- Business bays and dual purpose bays in the CPZ your permit applies to
- Lewisham Slaithwaite and Clarendon Rise car parks
You are not allowed to park in Resident bays.
