Important dates for the admission process for children starting primary school in September 2027.
Applications open (apply online): Tuesday 1 September 2026.
The deadline for applying for a primary school place is Friday 15 January 2027.
Offers
| Results for applications | Friday 16 April 2027 (you will get an email in the evening telling you where your child has been offered a place) |
| Deadline for accepting your offer | Friday 30 April 2027 (if you applied online, you need to accept the offer online) |
Appeals
| Closing date for appeals for community schools in the borough | 19 May 2027 (admissions authorities of other schools may set the same or a later deadline) |
| Appeal hearings | May to July 2027 (if you submit an appeal after 19 May 2027, it will not be heard until the start of the academic year in September 2027) |
