How to apply for a primary school place

School Admissions office closedThe School Admissions office will be closed Monday 17 August to Friday 21 August 2026.
You can still make and submit applications - the team will process them on their return.

The deadline for applying for a primary school place to start in September 2026 is 15 January 2026.

Apply online
Entering your address
When you start your application, the system will automatically identify your local council from your postcode. Your local council will get an electronic copy of your application. Make sure your home address and postcode are correct.
If your address isn't recognised
If your address is not recognised by the eAdmissions website, or you live in a new development, call us on 020 8314 8282 or email schooladmissions@lewisham.gov.uk.
