Licensing – minor variations

Find guidance on submitting a minor variation for a licence and download the application form.
Potential scam targeting premises license holders - person impersonating licensing officer

We've received reports of an individual impersonating a Licensing Officer and contacting businesses to request payments.

Lewisham Council licensing officers will never request cash payments under any circumstances. Council officers will not provide Council bank account details over the telephone or ask for payments to be made to personal accounts.

If you receive any suspicious calls, requests for payment, or communications claiming to be from the Licensing Team, please do not make any payment. Email our licensing team on licensing@lewisham.gov.uk to verify the request. We encourage all licence holders to remain vigilant and report any suspected fraudulent activity.

The minor variation process came into force on 27 July 2009.

Please contact us if you are unsure if your variation can be made under the minor variation system.

The fee for this process is £89. Please make your cheque payable to the London Borough of Lewisham, alternatively if you wish to pay by debit or credit card please contact us. Annual fees remain unaffected.
