Ways to pay for parking
We are due to introduce a new system on Tuesday 1 July 2025. This could impact parking permits, suspensions and penalty charge notice (PCN) payments.
Please expect there may be some downtime the week starting Tuesday 1 July 2025.
The Staff and Visitor app will no longer be available from Tuesday 1 July 2025. An alternative option is in development.

QR code scamsThere have been reports of QR code and telephone number scams when paying for parking. Be careful when making payments using these methods. If you have concerns that a QR code has been tampered with or that the phone number is not accurate, use the Pay By Phone app and use the location code displayed to make a payment. If you have had a bad experience or are unsure of one of these scams, you can contact us by phone: 020 8787 5397 or via email.
Since 1 August 2020 you must pay for parking in council car parks and on-street pay to park bays via PayByPhone.
We have launched a cashless Pay to Park service with PayByPhone as part of our commitment to a carbon neutral borough by 2030 and to improve the customer experience.
PayByPhone is an easy, convenient way to pay for your parking using the app, online or by telephone.
It’s cashless, lets you extend your parking session on the go, and the app provides you with the option to receive timely reminders and a live countdown timer so you don’t overstay your parking session.
You'll need your mobile number and email address to register for a PayByPhone account, and your vehicle registration and payment details to book your first parking session.
