Neighbourhood learning

We work with a number of organisations to provide free courses that will help you develop the skills and confidence you need to progress onto further learning or employment.
Enrolment

Due to technical issues with courses displaying on the website, we have decided to postpone enrolment for 2024/25 autumn term courses until the issue has been resolved.

We will publish the new date as soon as we can.

How the courses can help you

The courses can help you to:

  • improve your basic skills in English, maths and computing

  • get paid or voluntary employment

  • support your local community

  • increase your confidence and wellbeing.

Who is eligible for the courses

You are eligible to join these courses if you:

  • are over 19 years old

  • have permanent UK residency, have lived in an EU country for the last three years, or you are a refugee or asylum seeker.

You can enrol onto the courses whether you have previous qualifications or not.
