Bromley Road, Southend Village SPD
Planning services have introduced new charges for withdrawn planning applications. These charges are to recover administrative costs. The charge for Non-Major validated applications is £41.67 (£50 including VAT) and for Major validated applications, it is £125 (£150 including VAT).
The LDF Bromley Road, Southend Village Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) provides guidance for future development as well as a starting point for any future locality based regeneration in the area.
The SPD covers the Southend Village locality along Bromley Road – within part of Downham and Whitefoot wards and close to Bellingham ward.
The SPD contains an analysis of the area, a report of two consultation workshops run with residents and other stakeholders, an analysis of the capacity of the local social infrastructure to provide for new residents, a series of objectives and projects for the area, and development guidance on individual sites.
