Bromley Road, Southend Village SPD
Planning fees are changing from 1 April 2025. Fees for planning applications will rise by 1.7%. A draft fee schedule is published on the Planning Portal. Other non-statutory planning fees will increase by an average of 2.7%.
The LDF Bromley Road, Southend Village Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) provides guidance for future development as well as a starting point for any future locality based regeneration in the area.
The SPD covers the Southend Village locality along Bromley Road – within part of Downham and Whitefoot wards and close to Bellingham ward.
The SPD contains an analysis of the area, a report of two consultation workshops run with residents and other stakeholders, an analysis of the capacity of the local social infrastructure to provide for new residents, a series of objectives and projects for the area, and development guidance on individual sites.
