Lewisham town centre local plan submission

Lewisham local plan documents submitted for examination in 2012.

On 28 September 2012 the Council submitted its Local Plan for Lewisham town centre to the Secretary of State for examination by an independent Planning Inspector.

This final document is known as the Lewisham Town Centre Local Plan (LTCLP) submission version. Alongside this plan the Council submitted a 'Schedule of Recommended Main Modifications' which includes the council's proposed changes to the LTCLP in response to the representations received on the publication of the LTCLP proposed submission version in March/April 2012 and the introduction of the National Planning Policy Framework by central Government.

The proposed changes were consulted upon from 1 October to 12 November 2012 and comments received on these changes during the consultation have been forwarded directly to the Planning Inspector to be considered at the Examination.

The LTCLP Examination will be held on 15 and 16 January 2013. The inspector will check that all legal requirements have been met and review and listen to comments from residents, stakeholders and businesses, as well as study local evidence. For further details on the examination, see the LTCLP examination webpage.
