Parliamentary Boundary Review 2020-23

The Boundary Commission are responsible for making recommendations for changes to Parliamentary Constituency boundaries. A review of boundaries began in March 2020. The initial proposals were published on 8 June 2021. They were subject to consultation until 8 August 2021. Revised proposals were published on 8 November 2022 with a consultation period that closed on 5 December 2022. The Boundary Commission will submit final proposals to Parliament for approval. If Parliament approves the final proposals, the new constituencies would come into force from July 2023.
