Pattern cutting workshop- part 1- make a bespoke dress block

If you already have good Clothesmaking skills and want to learn how to improve and personalise the fit of the garments you make, then this introductory workshop is perfect for you. It will introduce you to the ‘freehand’ drafting method, where your own accurate body measurements are transferred directly onto paper and/or calico to create a bespoke dress block- and you will make and accurately fit & adjust a calico toile to your body. This will be your basis for creating your own perfectly fitting dress, blouse, top and skirt patterns- and these will be developed in the follow-on workshop TFD402SGR, use & adapt your bespoke dress block
