Braille and tactile skills

This course covers understanding how the Braille code works, becoming familiar with basic terminology and what it means, and learning to read braille with your fingers (tracking.) It also offers an opportunity to spend quality time with people who have visual impairments, or who are interested in them. It does not matter if you have any experience with Braille or not as the learning is tailored to your needs and it is delivered on a 1:1 basis where learners work with the tutor at their own pace; however, there is a sharing focus as well as independent study, and group activities.
