What prior knowledge, experience and qualifications will I need?
No prior knowledge or experience is necessary, but a basic level of English and maths skills are required.
Learning Goals:
Photograph an object.
Learn about simple tabletop set-ups.
Understand how to use lighting.
Share ideas and discuss your experiences.
What teaching methods will the tutor use?
The tutor will use a range of teaching methods during the class, including demonstration (both group and individual), one to one tuition, group work, progress assessments, observation, discussion and question and answer sessions.
What assessment methods will the tutor use?
The tutor will use a range of methods to assess your progress during the session.
Will extra work be required outside the class times?
This is a short taster class and does not require any additional work.
What materials will I need for the course and how much will they cost?
If you have a digital camera or other photographic device, please bring it with you. If not, learners will have access to a device during the session.
What do I need to bring to the first class?
Please bring a digital camera or other photographic device if you have one.
