What is a zine? The first zines appeared in the 30's and have continued to inspire people to share thoughts, ideas and images today. This course is a basic introduction to the world of zine making. You will gain an understanding of its popularity, how to self publish in small quantities something unique to you without breaking the bank and where to find the relevant information to help you produce your very own artwork whether online or as an actual piece of art. A follow up course will be offered in the spring.
