What prior knowledge, experience and qualifications will I need?
No prior knowledge or experience is necessary to enrol on this course. Please be advised that some learners who enrol will have more experience than others. A basic level of English, Maths and computer skills would be useful.
Learning Goals:
To use a found object to create a mark on paper.
To experience and explore a variety of processes that incorporate colour and build texture.
To make a colourful bird using the techniques explored in the session.
To discuss and share ideas.
What teaching methods will the tutor use?
The tutor will use a range of teaching methods during the course which will include the following: Demonstration - both group and individual, one to one tuition, group work, assessment of progress, observation, discussion/question, and answer sessions.

What do I need to bring to the first class?
A small found object to make a mark with on paper. Don't forget to bring an apron, wear suitable clothing and enclosed footwear.

This is a practical class, ALL cannot be held responsible for any items including work, materials, tools etc left by the learner in our workrooms. This workspace is used for a varied course offer, please leave the space clean and tidy ensuring rubbish and personal belongings are removed. All drinks taken into the space must be kept in a re-useable lidded cup or container.
