Announcement of the death of Councillor Sue Hordijenko

Councillor Hordijenko represented Bellingham ward since 2016 and will be very sadly missed.

Mayor of Lewisham Damien Egan said:

“I am deeply saddened by the death of our friend and colleague Sue Hordijenko. Sue was a kind and compassionate councillor, who worked tirelessly to support the people she represented in Bellingham. Even if you had just met Sue, you instantly felt like you were talking to a friend. She was a popular and respected figure at the Council and will be deeply missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with Sue’s family and friends.”
