Public recycling banks

Find out where in the borough you can recycle your unwanted clothes and textiles as well as small electrical items at our public use recycling bins.

There are a number of public recycling banks in Lewisham. They're available for use by all residents, and are emptied weekly. They must not be used for commercial or business waste.

Please don't leave items next to the banks - it's classed as fly-tipping and could result in a fine. If the bin is full, please contact 0207 476 2888.

You can also scan the QR code on the bank to help you find the nearest alternative bin.

Small electrical and electronic equipment recycling banks

At these sites, you can recycle any item that's powered by a plug or batteries, including cables and leads.

However, the maximum item size we can accept is 28cm by 23cm. Anything larger can be recycled at our Reuse and Recycling Centre at Landmann Way or by booking a bulky waste collection.

Please don't leave items next to the banks - it's classed as fly tipping and could result in a fine. If the bin is full, please contact 0207 476 2888.

You can also scan the QR code on the bank to help you find the nearest alternative bin.
