The Lee Neighbourhood Area and Forum
The Mayor approved the application to designate the Lee Neighbourhood Area and create the Lee Neighbourhood Forum at the Mayor and Cabinet meeting on 13 January 2016. The Lee Neighbourhood Area can be seen clearly on the map below.
The forum was formally re-designated for a further 5 years on 21 June 2021.

The London Borough of Lewisham and the Royal Borough of Greenwich, with agreement from the Lee Neighbourhood Forum has appointed Derek Stebbing BA (Hons) DipEP MRTPI to undertake the examination of the Lee Neighbourhood Plan.

Lee Neighbourhood Plan submission - Regulation 16 consultation
Lee Neighbourhood Forum have submitted its proposed neighbourhood plan to London Borough of Lewisham and Royal Borough of Greenwich. The Council is now seeking views and comments on the draft plan from residents, business owners and other interested stakeholders.
The Council are also inviting comments on the Strategic Environment Assessment (SEA) prepared by AECOM which can be found below.

The Council undertook a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) screening and a Habitat Regulation Assessment (HRA) screening of the draft Lee neighbourhood development plan which was published in July 2021.

The Lee Neighbourhood Area covers parts of both the London Borough of Lewisham and the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Royal Greenwich Council have also approved the formation of the Lee Neighbourhood Area and Forum in the areas that fall within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The Lee Neighbourhood Forum is the organisation that operates in the Lee Neighbourhood Area. The Lee Forum’s constitution states that: anyone who lives, works or is an elected member within the Lee Neighbourhood Area or anyone with an interest in the Lee Neighbourhood Area, is eligible to become a member of the Lee Neighbourhood Forum. Application for the re-designation of Lee neighbourhood forum
A local community group in the Lee area has made an application seeking the re-designation of a designation of a neighbourhood forum for Lee neighbourhood forum.
The proposed area covers part of the borough of Lewisham. If the application is approved, no other organisation or body may be designated for that area until this designation expires or is withdrawn.
