Calling all suppliers or potential suppliers
On Monday 24 February 2025, the rules that shape how public bodies buy goods and services will change. If your business supplies goods, works or services to organisations in the public or utility sectors – or hopes to do so in the future, you need to know about the changes.
The Cabinet Office is running two webinars aimed at suppliers and any other external organisation with an interest in public procurement. They will focus on what the key changes are, how the central digital platform will work (featuring a live demonstration), and will be an opportunity for you to ask questions on your own preparations for go-live. This session will be recorded and a recording will be available via webpages on GOV.UK for those unable to attend.

Key updates
Current procurement regulations will be replaced on 24 February 2025 by the new rules outlined in the Procurement Act 2023. These updated regulations aim to streamline public sector procurement for goods, services, and works.

Provider Selection Regime
The Provider Selection Regime (PSR) came into force on 1 January 2024. The London Borough of Lewisham applies the PSR when procuring healthcare services.
