Use this form to tell us that you have overpaid business rates and need a refund.

Business rates online accounts unavailable

Business rates bill 2025/26

If you have signed up for online billing, you will not receive a new business rates bill for 2025/26 in the post. This bill will only be available for download and printing through your MyLewisham account from week commencing Monday, 3 March 2025.

Before you complete the form

To tell us about an overpayment you will need to log into your My Lewisham account. If you don’t have one already, please click 'Log in and request a refund' below, then choose 'register' and follow the instructions to create your account.

How to complete the form

After you log in you can complete the form:

It should take between five and 10 minutes to complete
You will need to tell us your business rates account number and the bank details of the account where the refund should be sent.

What happens next

We will send you an email confirmation.
We will contact you in 10 working days to tell you our decision.
We will contact you if we need more information.
