Notice is given that the publication of the full draft statement of accounts, including pension fund accounts, for the year ended 31 March 2026 has been published on this website:

In line with the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, the associated accounting records and related documents were made available for public inspection.

The full draft statement was made available for public inspection between 16 June 2026 and 05 August 2026. This period ran from the date of publication of the draft statement and covered 30 working days, starting from the day after publication, following the inclusion of the Annual Governance Statement (AGS).

Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015

Notice is hereby given that the audit of the London Borough of Lewisham's Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 has been concluded.
KPMG LLP, the Council's external auditor, issued its Audit Completion Certificate on 17 August 2026 in accordance with Section 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014:

• Audited statement of accounts for 2024/25
• Audit Completion Certificate 2024/25

Additional audit documents

• Audit Findings Reports (ISA 260 reports) along with the Auditor’s Annual Report (AAR)

In accordance with Section 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014, local government electors may inspect and make copies of the Statement of Accounts, the auditor's opinion and the Audit Completion Certificate, all of which are available above.
