What it means to be an approved care provider

We have appointed four lead providers to deliver care to people within their own home. Each of the lead providers is assigned to one of four neighbourhoods in the borough. They are expected to accept all referrals for homecare in their neighbourhood.

Sometimes, our lead providers do not have the capacity or specialism to deliver all our service users’ needs. When this happens, they may delegate some of their workload to one of the care providers on our approved provider list.

We maintain the list for our lead providers to use.

Please note that there is no guarantee of receiving any work as a result of being recruited onto the approved provider list.
