Grants or loans to make your home accessible (disabled facilities grant)

If you, or someone you live with, is disabled and your home needs adapting, you may be eligible for a disabled facilities grant.

We can provide financial help for the cost of essential adaptation work to make a house suitable for a disabled person to live in.

You can apply for this grant when a disabled facilities grant does not cover the full cost of home adaptations.

A discretionary interest-free top-up loan may be available for works that exceed the maximum total disabled facilities grant.
