Sharing your information with the Office of National Statistics

If you get support from our Early Help Team, we will need some of your personal information. This page tells you how we manage the information you give us.

How are we using your information?

If your family is assessed as eligible to get support from Lewisham’s Early Intervention Services, we have been asked to share your personal information (including your name, address, date of birth and details of the support you are receiving) with the Office of National Statistics and government departments for research purposes. They will keep this data until 2022.

How will it affect you?

It will not affect the benefits, services or support that you get. Your information will be handled securely and with care, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Why is my information being shared?

We are sharing your information to help improve the services your family and other families get in the future.
