Crisis and Resilience Fund
Planning for the new funding is underway and we'll publish details of the help available on this page as soon as it's confirmed.
What is the Crisis and Resilience Fund?
The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is government funding provided to local authorities to help residents on low incomes who are facing a financial crisis.
The Council will use it to provide emergency financial support to residents on a low income who face a sudden, unexpected crisis and to fund local community services that support you to become more financially stable.
It’s not just a one-off payment, every application will come with an offer of free, longer-term support – debt advice, benefits checks, budgeting help – so you’re in a stronger position if something unexpected happens again.
The fund runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029 giving us three years of stable provision for Lewisham residents.
