Well done to all our GCSE students

A big well done to all students collecting their GCSE results today - we're really proud of you!

If you need advice on next steps, speak to your school or contact the team at Baseline who offer free and impartial advice and support to young people.

The Baseline team is also holding an open event today (Thursday 22 August) for young people who have received their exam results. If you want to speak to someone about your options or get careers advice, please come along to the Civic Suite, Catford SE6 4RU today, 11am-3pm. No need to book – just turn up!

Councillor Chris Barnham, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said:

“A huge well done to all students across the borough who are getting their reward for all their hard work over the last few months and years..

“It was a pleasure to spend time this morning with students and staff at Addey and Stanhope School and inspiring to hear from students about their next steps and plans for the future. Across the borough, these results are a testament to the talent and resilience of our young people, and our dedicated school staff who work tirelessly to help their students achieve their goals.

Well done as well to our adult learners who are also receiving GCSE results today.
