Cancellation of booking at the Sydenham Centre

We have a statutory obligation to keep our premises safe for our staff and for everyone else attending our premises. This evening we have two meetings taking place in the Civic Suite, one of which has had to be called at extremely short notice to deal with an urgent licensing issue. This has required us to ensure all our security staff are on hand at the Civic Suite tonight.

We understand that the speaker at the event at the Sydenham Centre may have drawn a level of interest. Whilst well attended events are always welcome, tonight we have additional security requirements at the Civic Suite and so we believe we do not have the resources to manage a potentially well attended meeting at Sydenham as well as the meetings at the Civic Suite.
