Venue information

The Leemore Centre is a voluntary and community sector advice and information hub in the heart of Lewisham. The following is available at the Leemore Centre:

  • access to information and advice specialist support from trained advisors
  • day activities Monday to Friday for people with learning disabilities
  • WIFI and computer access.

The hub is a partnership between the Council and the voluntary sector and its aim is to support vulnerable adults.

Facilities

The building is a welcoming public space with:

  • a small amount of fully accessible activity space is available to hire:
    • Main hall (on the lower ground floor) – maximum capacity 50 (seated) and 80 (standing)
    • Activity rooms – available evenings and weekends – capacity 25 seating per room.
  • changing places
  • toilets.

Advice Lewisham

Advice Lewisham is a free and confidential advice line for support on things such as welfare, benefits and employment. It is a collaboration of a number of advice organisations and is the first point of access if you need support and information.

You can call Advice Lewisham free on 0800 231 5453.

Advice Lewisham also hosts drop-in sessions at the Leemore Centre every weekday to give help with completing online claims, and give guidance on where you can get the information you need on a range of different issues.

There are no disabled bays onsite. There are disabled bays outside the Methodist Church on Albion Way off Clarendon Rise.

There is on-street parking in the surrounding streets and a car park on Clarendon Rise which Blue Badge holders can use.
